P2 Ventures, a venture capital firm specializing in blockchain technologies, has announced a significant investment of $50 million to support startup founders in the Polygon ecosystem. This commitment will be channeled through Hadron Founders Club (Hadron FC), a founder program providing mentorship, legal and regulatory assistance, and comprehensive support to entrepreneurs.
Hadron FC, with campuses in Dubai and New York, offers a unique platform for blockchain startups to develop and grow. Among the initial 36 projects onboarding the program, several participated in a week-long in-person co-building session in Dubai.
Shreyansh Singh, Head of Investments at P2 Ventures, expressed confidence in Hadron FC's ability to foster innovation within the Polygon ecosystem. "This investment signals our belief in Hadron Club's unmatched capacity to empower visionary founders and drive the development of groundbreaking projects," he said.
Ajit Tripathi, a core contributor to Hadron FC, emphasized the program's comprehensive approach, stating that it offered the "optimal combination of support, capital, and a vibrant community."
P2 Ventures emerged from Polygon Labs, the primary developer of Polygon's Ethereum layer-2 networks, as a separate entity in late 2023. The venture capital firm, with a team of 10 professionals, rebranded as P2 Ventures and has since focused on identifying and supporting promising startups in the blockchain space.
The Polygon ecosystem, known for its scalability and low transaction fees, has attracted a growing community of developers and users. P2 Ventures' investment is expected to further accelerate the growth and innovation within the ecosystem by providing early-stage startups with the resources and expertise they need to succeed.
This investment marks a significant milestone in the development of the Polygon ecosystem, demonstrating the confidence of venture capital firms in the long-term potential of blockchain technologies. By providing mentorship, funding, and a supportive community, Hadron FC will play a crucial role in fostering the next generation of blockchain startups and shaping the future of decentralized applications.
