Orderly Expands Its Omnichain Trading Infrastructure by Integrating with Story

Orderly, a permissionless liquidity layer, has expanded its omnichain trading infrastructure with an integration of Story, a Layer 1 blockchain designed to convert intellectual property into programmable digital assets. The partnership grants developers building on Story access to deep liquidity solutions for their applications, enhancing the efficiency of decentralized platforms focused on intellectual property licensing and monetization.

Orderly’s integration brings its single order book, supported by over 20 market makers including Wintermute and Selini, to Story’s blockchain. This ensures deeper market depth and tighter spreads for developers building decentralized applications focused on intellectual property. Story is also joining Orderly’s supported networks—which include Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Solana, and Berachain—to enable cross-chain liquidity and interoperability.

Developers on Story can now utilize Orderly’s advanced SDK to integrate cross-chain liquidity solutions, connecting tokenized IP assets with the broader decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. This partnership aligns with Orderly’s strategic goal of partnering with innovative blockchains at an early stage to foster a more interconnected trading environment. For example, decentralized applications (dApps) on Story that enable the trading of music royalties could utilize Orderly’s infrastructure to facilitate transactions between liquidity pools on Solana or Arbitrum, all within a unified trading interface.

This integration also expands the possibilities for Orderly users, who will gain access to new trading opportunities in the creative economy, offering exposure to intellectual property markets, including digital art, patents, and music rights. At the same time, developers will benefit from a robust execution layer where smart contracts can efficiently manage IP transactions without concerns over liquidity constraints.

As Story’s ecosystem continues to expand, the integration with Orderly contributes to a scalable framework for trading tokenized intellectual property. This partnership strengthens the broader DeFi landscape by combining cross-chain liquidity with Story’s IP-focused infrastructure, ensuring a seamless and flexible experience for users and developers alike. As financial technology integrates with intellectual property rights, this initiative paves the way for a more inclusive and liquid creative economy within the Web3 space.
