Orbs Liquidity Hub Expands to Sonic With SpookySwap

Feb 13, 2025 at 01:22 am

Leveraging Orbs Layer-3 (L3) technology, Liquidity Hub optimizes prices and aggregates off-chain liquidity to reduce the inefficiencies of DeFi market fragmentation.

Orbs Liquidity Hub Expands to Sonic With SpookySwap

Orbs Liquidity Hub has officially launched on Sonic as one of the industry's leading omnichain liquidity aggregation solutions. This integration will enable gasless transactions, MEV protection, and enhanced capital efficiency on the Sonic network.

SpookySwap, a renowned decentralized exchange (DEX) on Fantom, had already integrated Liquidity Hub, and now its users on Sonic will reap the same benefits. SpookySwap, unlike most DEXs, features an integrated bridge, limit orders, and multiple farms, all powered by its native BOO token.

Orbs Liquidity Hub Expands to Sonic With SpookySwap

Utilizing Orbs Layer-3 (L3) technology, Liquidity Hub optimizes prices and aggregates off-chain liquidity to mitigate the inefficiencies caused by the fragmentation of the DeFi market. With the launch of Liquidity Hub on Sonic, SpookySwap joins a rapidly expanding network of DEXs like THENA, Lynex, IntentX, and Fenix that are harnessing the power of Orbs technology to facilitate and enhance trading. Sonic's high-speed blockchain with 10,000 TPS and EVM compatibility with guaranteed sub-second finality serves as an ideal platform for these innovations.

Liquidity Hub empowers DEXs to access alternative sources of liquidity, enabling them to offer better pricing. Third-party solvers bid to execute swaps using liquidity from automated market maker (AMM) pools or private reserves. If no better quote is provided, the system reverts to the AMM contract, ensuring traders get the best available price.

SpookySwap was the first decentralized exchange (DEX) to launch a Liquidity Hub on Fantom. This deployment on Sonic promises a user-friendly experience and optimal pricing. Instead of relying solely on Sonic-native liquidity, users can now tap into liquidity from external sources for improved trade execution.

Orbs decentralized L3 infrastructure hosts millions of total value locked (TVL) in aggregate, providing scalability for Liquidity Hub's more advanced order types. With dLIMIT and dTWAP integrated, Liquidity Hub enhances DeFi by facilitating more efficient and secure trading. It is poised to become an essential tool for enabling seamless cross-network transactions.

Operating as a permanent Layer 3 blockchain, Orbs augments onchain trading with advanced execution capabilities that extend beyond basic smart contracts. Orbs has introduced Liquidity Hub, dLIMIT, and Perpetual Hub to enhance DeFi with CeFi-grade execution. These solutions are setting new benchmarks for innovation and integration in the industry.
