Nyan Heroes Pre-Alpha Demo Surpasses 100K Downloads, Announces Leaderboard Rewards

Nyan Heroes, the Solana-based mech shooter, has gathered over 100,000 players since its pre-alpha demo launch on Epic Games Store on March 25. With less than a week until the pre-alpha demo ends on April 9, Nyan Heroes has announced plans to reward top-performing players with leaderboard prizes, including Nyan Heroes Genesis Guardian NFTs and MEOW points towards the future airdrop of the game's NYAN token.

Solana-Based Mech Shooter Garners Overwhelming Response

Nyan Heroes, the feline mech shooter built on the Solana blockchain, has achieved a significant milestone, surpassing 100,000 downloads and active players since the launch of its pre-alpha demo on March 25th via the Epic Games Store.

Pre-Alpha Demo Performance

"The Nyan Heroes pre-alpha demo has been an overwhelming success, and we are thrilled with the reception it has received," said 9 Lives Interactive, the developer behind Nyan Heroes, in a Medium post.

The pre-alpha demo, which concludes on April 9th, has witnessed an impressive level of engagement, with players eagerly participating in intense mech battles. To acknowledge their achievements, Nyan Heroes has announced a leaderboard rewards system for the top-ranked players.

Leaderboard Rewards

Based on their performance in the pre-alpha demo, the top-rated players will receive exclusive rewards, including Nyan Heroes Genesis Guardian NFTs and MEOW tokens, which will contribute to the upcoming airdrop of the game's NYAN token.

The top three players will receive a Legendary Genesis Nyan NFT, an Ultrarare Genesis NFT, and a Unique Genesis Nyan NFT, respectively. Players ranked from fourth to tenth will receive a Genesis Nyan NFT, while those ranked from eleventh to twentieth will receive a Genesis Guardian NFT.

Leaderboard Ranking

"The leaderboard position is determined solely by total wins during the pre-alpha demo. The more wins you achieve, the higher your rank on the leaderboard will be," explained 9 Lives Interactive.

The top 100 players will be prominently displayed on the leaderboard. Players who do not make it into the top 100 can still track their rank by scrolling to the bottom of the list and searching for their username.

MEOW Rewards

In addition to the leaderboard rewards, all players who participate in the pre-alpha demo will receive MEOW tokens. The amount of MEOW tokens earned will increase with each victory on the leaderboard.

Even players who are tied in terms of wins will receive the same rewards as the player above them. Notably, the MEOW tokens earned from the leaderboard will boost a player's total score before any multipliers are applied.

Genesis NFT Holders and Airdrop

In January, Nyan Heroes announced that players who own Nyan Heroes or Guardians NFTs would receive additional rewards. Recently, 9 Life Interactive offered double MEOW tokens through its play-to-airdrop campaign in a special limited-time promotion.

The NYAN token is expected to launch on Solana following the conclusion of the play-to-airdrop campaign.
