NFT Market Witnesses 10.10% Surge in Sales Volume in the Last Seven Days

NFT sales volume surged 10.10% in the last seven days to reach $85.97 million, according to data from Cryptoslam.

The numbers are higher in comparison to the weekly NFT sales in the last two weeks of September.

NFT buyers also surged by 21.73% during this period. As per the latest data, NFT buyers rose to 794,763, while NFT sellers came down to more than half at 377,711.

NFT transactions also pumped by over 64.72% in the last seven days to reach 1,2956,201.

Here is a look at the networks that did the top sales during this time.

Ethereum stands tall in the leaderboard

According to Cryptoslam data, Ethereum (ETH) stood tall at the first ranking with $27.48 million in NFT sales volume. However, $3.3 million worth of the sales accounted for wash trading.

The numbers in comparison to the last seven days show a 5.07% surge in NFT sales. NFT buyers for Ethereum also rose by 12.49% to reach 55,859.

Bitcoin (BTC) ranks second on the list with $12.62 million in total sales. However, there has been a 40% drop in the sales during the last seven days.

Solana (SOL) stood in the third position with $11.8 million in sales. Mythos Chain (MYTH), Polygon (POL) and Binance Coin (BNB) bagged the next spots with $11.8 million, $10.6 million and $3.35 million in sales, respectively.

Bitcoin and Solana recorded $887,810 and $701,810 in wash trading, respectively. The highest number of buyers were recorded for Solana, which stood at 393,044.

DMarket records highest sales

DMarket is the NFT collection that recorded the highest sales in the last seven days. The sales stood at $11.29 million, which happened in over 396,801 transactions.

The sales are a result of the NFT airdrop by STEPN, a Web3 move-to-earn application. DMarket is an NFT marketplace that is known for its gaming and esports assets.

Coming to the second position is Guild of Guardians, which recorded $3.19 million in sales in over 5389 transactions. Third on the list is Ethereum-based CryptoPunks. CryptoPunks recorded a sales volume of $2.89 million during this period.
