Nansen Delivers Q1 2024 Updates: Chain Expansions, AI Signals, and Smart Segment Enhancements

Nansen has experienced a period of growth in the first quarter of 2024, adding new chains such as Near, Mantle, Chiliz, and zkSync, enabling users to access key statistics and discover top projects. Enhanced multi-chain support has been introduced, extending the availability of Wallet Profiler and Token Pair Profiler to various chains including Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, BNB Chain, and Polygon. Additionally, new AI-powered Signals offer personalized updates based on user activity, while the Smart Money Dashboard includes new features like the Smart Money Performance chart, Balance, and DEX Trades tabs.

Nansen's Expansive Updates for the First Quarter of 2024

Chain Additions and Enhanced Multi-Chain Support

Nansen's ecosystem has expanded with the addition of four new chains: Near, Mantle, Chiliz, and zkSync. These integrations enable users to access key statistics like active addresses and transaction counts and delve into top projects on these burgeoning platforms.

Furthermore, multi-chain support has been enhanced, with Wallet Profiler for Token and Wallet Pair Profiler now available on Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, BNB Chain, and Polygon. Token Overlap now also supports Linea. Conveniently, users can determine supported chains for each feature by accessing the Search bar and hovering over the number of chains associated.

AI-Powered Personalized Signals

Nansen's Signals page has been augmented with a new feature that generates tailored updates based on user activity within the platform. Exclusive to Professional subscribers, this AI-powered feature curates a personalized feed by considering preferences such as likes, clicks, and watchlist additions. Over time, the feed adapts to align precisely with the specific interests and requirements of each user.

Smart Money Dashboard Enhancements

Smart Money, a highly sought-after Nansen dashboard, now provides additional insights into Smart Money trades, trends, and activity. The Overview tab boasts a novel Smart Money Performance chart that showcases profitable traders over a 30-day period (with customizable timeframes and options to include Smart Money traders of ETH and stablecoins). This feature enables users to uncover tokens that might otherwise have gone unnoticed and observe emerging trends in particular token categories.

Two new tabs, Balance and DEX Trades, have been added to the Smart Money dashboard. The Balance tab includes Smart Money Token Holdings, which tracks balance shifts over time, indicating buying or selling trends. Additionally, the Smart Money Leaderboard displays top holders of each token. Users can employ filters to refine the data, such as tokens of interest or tokens held by a minimum number of Smart Money holders. This allows for the identification of potential degen bets.

The Tokens Traded tab presents a treemap token chart that ranks tokens by Smart Money DEX trading volumes. Filters for New Tokens, Micro Caps, and Low Caps assist users in identifying tokens with potentially high risk and reward. Finally, the DEX Trades tab offers a real-time view of Smart Money token buys and sells, including the value of each transaction. Filters for Smart Money labels and Custom Labels or Smart Segments can be applied to refine the table and highlight specific traders of interest.

New Smart Alert Types

Nansen 2 has introduced five novel Smart Alert types:

• SM Token Flows: Alerts for Smart Money token inflows/outflows above a predefined threshold
• Exchange Flows: Alerts for ETH and token inflows/outflows from centralized exchanges
• Hot Contracts: Alerts for popular new contracts with significant capital flows
• Token Signals: Alerts for unusual on-chain token activities
• NFT Signals: Alerts for unusual on-chain NFT activities

Simplified Smart Alert Workflow

Smart Alerts can now be configured with just a few clicks within Nansen's user interface. The streamlined workflow focuses on essential information, reducing the steps required for setup. Moreover, users can adjust alert settings on the Smart Alerts page to manage the number of alerts received and refine the criteria for triggering alerts.

New Smart Segment Features

Smart Segments, a unique and highly valued feature of Nansen 2, has undergone enhancements based on user feedback. Five new conditions have been introduced:

• Top Holders of Token
• First Holders of Token
• Top Holders of NFT
• First Holders of NFT
• Exclude Labels

Enhanced "Holds Token" filters now allow users to specify the USD value and select a timeframe for more precise searches. Additionally, the Add Condition Group feature supports both "AND" and "OR" logic for greater flexibility in creating search criteria. Improved Smart Segment insights display wallet balances and labels within each segment. Finally, conditions are now editable, making it easier to refine and modify Smart Segments.

NFT God Mode Enhancements

NFT God Mode has been expanded with three new tabs for enhanced exploration and research of favorite NFT collections:

• Overview: Provides price trends, trading volumes, top bids, and listings, as well as insights into buyers, sellers, and Smart Money movements
• Owners: Reveals top owner balances, average cost basis, and trading behaviors, including Smart Money holdings and NFTs held for various periods
• Items: Utilizes AI analysis of past sales and rarity to identify potentially undervalued items

To access NFT God Mode, users can navigate to the NFTs section in the left-hand navigation menu and select a collection or search for an NFT by name using the search bar or CMD+K shortcut.

Additional Enhancements and Upcoming Releases

Beyond the major updates mentioned above, Nansen has implemented several smaller yet valuable enhancements:

• Simplified Navigation Menu: The streamlined navigation menu facilitates easy navigation within Nansen. Users can still access all tools via Search or keyboard shortcuts.
• What's New? Feed: This feed provides regular updates on Nansen's weekly releases, ensuring users stay informed about the latest features and improvements.

Upcoming Releases

Nansen is actively working on several upcoming releases to further enhance its platform:

• Profiler PnL Improvements: Enhancements to the calculation and display of PnL in Profiler and across Nansen will provide deeper insights into wallet performance.
• Multi-chain Hot Contracts, Smart Alerts: Users will be able to identify热门 contracts with significant capital inflow across supported chains, with instant notifications for token, wallet, and Smart Money movements on integrated chains.
