MTT Sports, the platform behind the 100-week esports event, is aiming to integrate the MTT project into the Olympics and create a new esports event platform. As part of this initiative, MTT Sports is hosting a weekly 1 BTC tournament that is completely free to enter. The total prize pool for the event amounts to over $10 million, and each week, the top 48 players will share 1 BTC.

In the 20th-week event, Russian player “Shaman1” emerged victorious, claiming 0.35 BTC. Notably, this marks the fourth consecutive week that a Russian player has secured the championship prize.

Over the first 20 weeks of the tournament, Russian players have collectively earned an impressive 3.79 BTC, which translates to approximately $379,000.

In addition to “Shaman1,” Korean player “Js Park” and American player “SphunKed🗽” also had strong performances, securing second and third place respectively. “Js Park” earned 0.2 BTC, while “SphunKed🗽” took home 0.1 BTC.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that “Js Park” has won a BTC prize in the tournament. Previously, in the 16th-week event, he placed 7th. Over two weeks of participation in the free tournaments, “Js Park” has managed to accumulate a total of 0.23 BTC, valued at approximately $23,000.

Apart from the top three prize contenders, Thai players had a significant presence among the top 48 finishers this week. Out of the top 48 players, 17 were from Thailand, collectively earning 0.129 BTC.

Over the first 20 weeks of the event, Thai players have collectively earned the most BTC, totaling 5.478 BTC. They are closely followed by Russian and Taiwanese players, who have earned 3.79 BTC and 3.456 BTC respectively.

The MTT Sports tournament will continue for another 80 weeks, during which time 80 more BTC will be given away. Any player is eligible to participate in the tournament and stand a chance to earn their own BTC, making this a truly accessible and rewarding event.
