Mar 19, 2025 at 07:27 pm
The move marks Movemaker's mission to strengthen the Aptos blockchain ecosystem, focusing on the Chinese-speaking region while driving eb3 innovation globally.
Movemaker, the official organizer of the Aptos community, has today announced the opening of the Aptos space and the launch of its $2 million Grant Program.
According to the announcement, the move marks Movemaker’s mission to strengthen the Aptos blockchain ecosystem, focusing on the Chinese-speaking region while driving eb3 innovation globally.
The Movemaker grant program signals Movemaker’s commitment to empowering developers, supporting innovative projects, and fostering a thriving blockchain community.
While it focuses on DeFi, AI, payment solutions, stablecoins, and real-world assets (RWAs), the program aims to provide financial, strategic, and technical support to projects building on the Aptos blockchain.
The first phase of the Movemaker Grant Program launch has seen the platform set aside US $2 million in grants to help promising projects with funding to accelerate development and project growth.
Thanks to the launch of Movemaker’s Grant Program, the projects will also have the opportunity to enjoy strategic and technical guidance for builders on the Aptos blockchain. At the same time, they will receive talent and branding support to enhance project visibility and adoption.
Apart from its plan to support developers and projects from the Chinese-speaking region, the program also seeks to welcome global teams interested in this market to join.
Movemaker Has Launched AutoSpace to Support Builders and Innovators
Movemaker has also announced the launch of the Auto space, a brand new physical venue situated in the heart of Hong Kong to allow developers to collaborate, learn from peers, and access professional mentorship.
The company has also planned to utilize Aptos Space to host regular meetups and developer events to attract local and global Web3 talent. Notably, grantees of the Movemaker Grant Program will also have the chance to co-work and collaborate with Aptos Space.
Ash Pampati, Head of Ecosystem at Aptos Foundation, commented on the development, saying,
“Strong community is the only way for Web3 to fulfill the promise of permissionless networks and decentralized economies. For builders obsessed with this outcome, physical environments like Aptos Space in Hong Kong are game-changers…A hub where developers can collaborate, learn from peers, and access mentorship is critical to ensuring their success.”
Nonetheless, Movemaker has launched this initiative to offer opportunities for builders seeking grants, entrepreneurs interested in collaboration, and community members looking to contribute, serving as a gateway to the Aptos ecosystem.
