The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is proud to recognize its employee, Henry Bata, for his exceptional achievement as the recipient of the Soldier of the Year award. This prestigious recognition acknowledges his outstanding leadership and dedication within the Maryland Defense Force.

Bata, a valued member of MCDOT's Parking Division, has previously served as a bus operator for Ride On. His profound gratitude for the support and guidance received from his colleagues at Ride On is evident in his statement: "I am who I am today because of my past supervisors and mentors at Ride On. I am eternally grateful. My experience driving for Ride On has given me an intimate knowledge of the County, and I am fully committed to serving the residents of Montgomery County."

Bata has been an exemplary employee at MCDOT for nine years. His unwavering commitment and contributions prompted him to join the Maryland Defense Force last year. He will be formally recognized in a ceremony scheduled for next month.
