Unipcs elaborated on his approach in a post on X, holding BONK for 13 months and incurring $1.9 million in fees while also achieving major success trading Dogecoin DOGE/USD.
Unipcs, also known as ‘BONK guy,’ is a millionaire trader who recently shared his journey and insights into meme coin trading, especially his long-term position in Bonk (BONK).
Unipcs shared his approach in a post on X, revealing that he has been holding BONK for 13 months and paid $1.9 million in fees while also achieving major success trading Dogecoin (DOGE). He also mentioned his successful trade with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) meme coin, where he turned six figures into $6.6 million.
However, he highlighted that meme coin trading is not “easy money” as it is often glamorized. It requires traders to endure intense volatility. He pointed out that notable meme coins like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu (SHIB) took months or even years to reach their peaks, emphasizing the need for long-term conviction.

Unipcs' experience provides a realistic perspective on meme coin trading, highlighting patience over quick gains. He noted that most big wins in meme coins are achieved by traders who are willing to hold through the ups and downs rather than those seeking overnight success.
The trader also touched on the risks involved in meme coin trading, stating that many meme coins will eventually die or depreciate significantly.
Despite the challenges, Unipcs remains optimistic about BONK's potential, mentioning its listing on major platforms like Coinbase and Upbit, strong buy pressure from BonkBot, and rumors of a Robinhood U.S. listing. He also sees BONK's prolonged consolidation as a setup for a potential rally.
The impact of meme coins will be further discussed at Benzinga's upcoming Future of Digital Assets event on Nov. 19.
