MicroCloud Hologram Inc. (NASDAQ: HOLO) Announces Breakthrough in Quantum Computing with Digital Simulated Quantum Computing (DAQC) Paradigm

MicroCloud Hologram Inc. (NASDAQ: HOLO) announced a major breakthrough in quantum computing with the launch of its Digital Simulated Quantum Computing (DAQC) paradigm. This innovative approach blends the flexibility of digital quantum computing with the robustness of simulated quantum simulations, opening new avenues for advancing quantum computing technology.

A key area of focus for HOLO’s DAQC is the Quantum Fourier Transform (QFT), a fundamental subroutine used in a variety of quantum algorithms. The company has developed a highly efficient digital simulated quantum algorithm specifically aimed at improving the computational efficiency and accuracy of the QFT. This advancement plays a crucial role in enhancing the broader quantum algorithm framework.

Through detailed research, HOLO discovered that as the number of quantum bits (qubits) increases, the fidelity of the Quantum Fourier Transform performed using DAQC improves significantly, especially when incorporating reasonable noise models. This finding highlights the potential of DAQC to overcome limitations faced by traditional quantum algorithms, particularly in the noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) era.

To implement DAQC, HOLO utilized the homogeneous all-to-all (ATA) two-body Ising model as the foundational resource, further enhancing it with a non-homogeneous ATA two-body Ising model for greater accuracy. This approach laid the groundwork for efficient algorithm implementation.

HOLO’s extensive numerical simulation experiments were conducted on quantum devices with 3, 5, 6, and 7 qubits. The experiments incorporated a realistic noise model to replicate real-world quantum computing environments. Notably, the DAQC method outperformed purely digital methods in terms of the fidelity between the ideal transformation and the achieved transformation, demonstrating a significant improvement as the number of qubits increased.

One of the key challenges in the current NISQ era is the noise introduced by quantum computing devices, especially errors generated by entangling two-qubit gates. HOLO’s DAQC paradigm successfully mitigates these errors, offering a significant advantage over existing technologies. This achievement suggests that hybrid protocols combining digital and simulated quantum computing could be a highly effective path toward “useful quantum supremacy” — the ability to solve real-world problems using quantum computers.

Looking ahead, HOLO remains committed to further exploring and optimizing the DAQC paradigm. The company is focused on advancing quantum computing technology, with the goal of contributing to global progress and collaborating with partners across various sectors to shape the future of quantum computing.

With this groundbreaking achievement, MicroCloud Hologram Inc. is positioned as a key player in the development of quantum computing, setting the stage for significant advancements in the field.
