Mercuryo, the international payments infrastructure firm, has partnered with Wallet in Telegram to facilitate millions of users' access to cryptocurrencies.

Crypto payments firm Mercuryo has partnered with Wallet in Telegram to provide millions of users with access to cryptocurrencies.
The partnership will introduce on-ramp services to Wallet, Telegram’s custodial crypto asset solution, and simplify and reduce the cost of buying digital tokens.
Wallet accommodates a range of digital assets, including Bitcoin, leading stablecoins, Toncoin (TON), and the Open Network (TON) blockchain native coin. Clients can now purchase these tokens with fiat currencies, such as the US dollar (USD) and euro (EUR). This will make it easier for new cryptocurrency users to enter the market.
“We are excited to partner with Wallet in Telegram to bring on-ramp services to their users. Together, we will onboard tens of millions of new users into the crypto space,” said Mercuryo CEO Petr Kozyakov.
“With an improved on-ramping process and an expanding range of fiat currencies accepted, we are getting closer to the goal of making digital assets accessible to Telegram’s huge base of over 900 million users.”
Open Platform CEO Andrew Rogozov added: “The majority of new users come to crypto via Telegram, which is why we built Wallet in Telegram to allow transferring crypto as easily as a message.
“We are aiming to expand access to no-fee crypto buys in more countries with future partnerships. That is why we are adding Mercuryo as the exclusive on-ramp provider to support this goal.”
A pioneer in Web3 payments, Mercuryo has been working with market leaders such as MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Ledger, and PancakeSwap since 2018. The company continues to develop groundbreaking financial solutions, improving convenience for digital asset holders around the world.
