Masa Network Integrates with LayerZero for Cross-Blockchain Interoperability and Data Ownership Empowerment

New York, United States - March 1, 2023 - Masa Network, a leading decentralized personal data network, has announced its strategic integration with LayerZero, a pioneering interoperability protocol that seamlessly connects blockchains and empowers developers to create cross-chain applications, tokens, and experiences.

This integration marks a significant advancement for Masa Network, enabling its data network to seamlessly communicate across multiple blockchain ecosystems, including Avalanche, Ethereum, and Binance Smart Chain. Additionally, the interoperability capabilities provided by LayerZero's Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) Standard will extend the cross-chain utility of the MASA token to Polygon, Base, Celo, and other prominent blockchain networks in the future.

The launch of Masa Network's native MASA token and Mainnet is scheduled for April 11th, 2024. This milestone will empower users with unprecedented control over their personal data in the era of artificial intelligence (AI). Masa's innovative Zero-Knowledge Soulbound Tokens (zkSBTs) data locker securely encrypts and stores individuals' digital footprints and social graphs, ensuring complete data privacy.

Through Masa Network, users gain the autonomy to own, share, and monetize their data, contributing to the training of AI models, powering AI agents, and driving the development of groundbreaking AI applications. As a reward for sharing their data, users earn MASA tokens, incentivizing participation in the decentralized AI economy.

"Our partnership with LayerZero Labs is a testament to Masa's commitment to providing users with unparalleled data ownership and empowerment," stated Calenthia Mei, Co-founder of Masa. "Masa aspires to enable users to harness the full potential of their data, regardless of the underlying blockchain network. LayerZero's interoperability solutions will ensure that our cross-chain vision becomes a reality from day one."

Masa Network's role as a leading provider of privacy-first personal training data has been instrumental in the burgeoning development of AI models. The network has amassed over 1.4 million unique wallets and collected more than 37 million proprietary data points.

Developers can leverage Masa Network's vast repository of private-by-default user data to train AI models, create innovative applications, power decentralized advertising solutions, and more. Masa Network will also offer pre-built large-language models for real-time data retrieval within the network.

"Our collaboration with Masa is a testament to our shared vision of enhancing privacy and innovation in AI development," commented Simon Baksys, VP of Business Development at LayerZero. "The integration of LayerZero's infrastructure with Masa's ecosystem will accelerate the creation of personalized AI applications while safeguarding user data privacy and security."
