Let’s take a look at all of the new Mario Kart World characters now that Nintendo has full revealed its new flagship Switch 2 game. The Mario Kart series has been one of the most popular Nintendo releases for years and the new Mario Kart World is going to get off to a serious Boost Start if the Switch 2 bundle sells out as fast as it seems like it’s going to. This year Nintendo is not only taking its mascot racer open-world, but it is also introducing some new Drive-Thru costume mechanics, a host of new courses, new items to throw at your friends, and a sizable expansion to the roster of racers.

Down below you’ll find a quick list of the new Mario Kart World characters – there’s 24 new characters being added to the roster in World. Some obvious new additions like Goomba, Piranha Plant, and perhaps Chargin’ Chuck have made the list, but there are also some sweet new deep-cut characters like Rocky Wrench, Coin Coffer, Cataquack, and my personal favorites Para-Biddybud, and the shades-wearing Conkdor that first appeared in Super Mario 3D World.

The list below is in no particular order, expect for Spike…cause Spike and I love him – the Spike Koopa enemies have appeared in a number of Nintendo games over the years but made their first appearance in Super Mario Bros. 3.
