The council has asked its members to carry valid identity cards, invoices, and other necessary documents while transporting gems and jewellery. It has also advised them to avoid carrying large amounts of cash and to use digital payment methods instead.
The GJC has also asked its members to cooperate with the authorities and to follow their instructions. It has assured them that the council will provide all possible assistance to its members in case of any difficulties.
The assembly elections in Maharashtra will be held on October 21 and the results will be declared on October 24.
