LunarCrash has released a report highlighting the top trending decentralized finance (DeFi) projects by social media activity over the past week. Among the projects, Solana ($SOL) has emerged as the most socially active.
According to the report, $SOL has recorded 135K social posts, the highest among the DeFi projects. These posts garnered 78.4 million interactions, including likes, comments, retweets, and upvotes, giving $SOL an impressive social dominance of 9.50%. This showcases the growing influence of DeFi projects in terms of speed, scalability, and mass adoption.
$XRP and $HBAR Claim Runner-Up Spots
Interestingly, $XRP and $HBAR follow closely behind $SOL and XRP, respectively. $XRP, despite being a traditional player in the blockchain world, remained a popular topic within the DeFi conversations. The token generated 43,500 posts and 26.2 million interactions, resulting in 1.10% social dominance.
On the other hand, $HBAR token also made a mark, securing third place with 17.3K posts and 5.21 million interactions. Being a significant contender in the DeFi space, $HBAR maintained a social dominance of 1.50%, further highlighting the consensus mechanism and eco-friendly approach of the project.
Other Top DeFi Projects Making the Waves
Among other tokens, $AVAX and $LINK also made notable appearances in the rankings. While $AVAX garnered 15,100 posts with 5.12 million interactions, achieving 1.40% of social dominance, the project $LINK generated 13.6K posts with 4.61 million interactions and 1.2% social dominance.
Other DeFi projects like $INJ, $VET, $EGLD, $RAY, and $FTM also featured prominently in the report. While $INJ secured 9.91K social posts, 2.62 million interactions, and 0.75% dominance, the project $VET garnered 7.12K social posts, 1.42M interactions with 0.50% dominance. Finally, $EGLD, $RAY, and $FTM secured 6.89K, 6.21K, and 4.68K social posts respectively. These tokens gained 1.28M, 1.49M, and 1.10M interactions, resulting in 0.55%, 0.55%, and 0.35% social dominance in the same order.
These rankings of DeFi projects highlight how social activity mirrors a project’s influence in the competitive DeFi landscape. With all these highlights, the developers and investors are advised to continue flocking to the blockchain solutions that offer both innovation and engagement.
