Lamborghini to Use Transak's Crypto On-Ramp Service for Upcoming NFT Mint

Luxury carmaker Automobili Lamborghini has partnered with crypto on-ramp service Transak for its upcoming NFT mint.

On Nov. 7, Lamborghini will allow users to mint their Revuelto NFTs as part of the carmaker’s Fast ForWorld collaboration with Web3 gaming and venture capital firm Animoca Brands.

The NFTs will grant users access to drive digital Lamborghinis in a range of games developed by Motorverse, an Animoca Brands project focused on digital vehicles.

In a press release shared with Cointelegraph, Transak announced its role as the “NFT Checkout” partner for the Fast ForWorld project. The announcement stated that users will be able to select their preferred payment methods through Transak’s platform, including card payments and direct bank transfers.

Despite a recent data breach, Transak assures its users that the platform facilitates secure payment transfers.

On Oct. 21, the crypto on-ramp service fell victim to a data breach, with 92,000 users, or about 1.14% of Transak’s user base, being affected by a phishing attack. In an announcement, Transak stated that “no financial information” was compromised.

Gangwar said that Transak’s platform enables Lamborghini to offer its community a seamless and secure Web3 experience, adding:

“Lamborghini's entry into Web3 with NFTs is a testament to the growing adoption of digital assets and immersive experiences,” said Gangwar.

According to Gangwar, the strategy enables the carmaker to better engage with its community, especially in a scenario where NFTs continue to resonate with “niche, high-value communities” interested in “exclusive, brand-aligned content.”

“It’s less about immediate sales volume and more about setting the stage for a digital future where ownership, brand interaction, and community engagement unfold in virtual environments,” Gangwar concluded.
