Kaspa (KAS) Could Soon Eclipse Solana and Ethereum—Analyst Reveals What's Coming

A Kaspa analyst on X thinks KAS will eventually overtake big blockchain rivals like Solana and Ethereum. This bold prediction comes from several new tech
A Kaspa analyst on X predicts that the cryptocurrency could soon outpace Solana and Ethereum as it gains several new tech developments and strengths in its network.
This prediction comes from KaspaFox, a community member who follows the KAS token closely. According to the analyst, several changes are coming to Kaspa.
"If you don't realize how massive the next few years will be for $KAS, you need to read this. We're entering a new era," the analyst said.
"Smart contracts, 10 BPS, proven KRC standards, regulatory clarity for PoW - and this is just the beginning. Let me take you on a journey."
Kaspa is heating up
The main focus of Kaspa so far has been on fast payments, but the addition of smart contracts will be a game-changer. With this upgrade, the blockchain will be able to support decentralized finance platforms, exchanges, lending systems, staking, and blockchain games.
Kaspa has already shown potential with its token standard. Users have been creating and trading KRC-20 tokens on the network, while artists have made NFTs using the KRC-721 standard at low costs and with fast transactions. Miners also benefit from the fees, forming a system that works for everyone.
The network is planning to increase to 10 blocks per second, which will make it even more efficient and capable of handling a larger volume of transactions. This will translate to less waiting time and a better user experience.
In comparison, Ethereum is "too slow" and Solana is "too centralized," while Kaspa manages to find "the perfect balance" between speed, security, and decentralization, the analyst added.
The potential for U.S. regulations to favor Proof-of-Work systems might also benefit Kaspa. While many blockchain projects face uncertain rules, Proof-of-Work systems are gradually gaining acceptance. Bitcoin is already recognized as "digital gold" in many regulatory frameworks.
This status might make Kaspa a "scalable, smart alternative" with regulatory clarity and more features than Bitcoin, KaspaFox said.
These improvements could attract more developers, users, and projects to Kaspa. According to the analyst, these advantages might eventually help Kaspa outperform its bigger competitors in the blockchain world.
