The United States Mint has released sales figures for its numismatic products through the week ending March 30, offering the first glimpse into the performance of the latest Juliette Gordon Low quarter.
This year’s second quarter, celebrating Juliette Gordon Low, was released on March 25 and marks the seventeenth installment in the U.S. Mint’s four-year series highlighting the accomplishments of American women. Combined sales of rolls and bags of this latest quarter in the opening days reached 1,818,780 coins.
Earlier this year, the first new product in 2024, Ida B. Wells quarter, started with sales of 1,695,920 coins. For more comparisons, the 2024 quarters honoring Celia Cruz, Dr. Mary Edwards Walker, Patsy Takemoto Mink, Rev. All these figures represent a slower start than any of the five quarters released in 2023, their sales debuts ranging from 2,141,420 for the Maria Tallchief quarter to 2,745,380 for the Bessie Coleman release.
