This capital infusion, led by King River Capital, Arrington Capital, and Animoca Brands, paves the way for the studio's ambitious plans to launch its interconnected game titles in the second quarter of 2024.

The Illuvium gaming universe encompasses three distinct experiences: Illuvium Arena, the monster-battler; Illuvium Overworld, the open-world action/adventure; and Illuvium Zero, the base-building game. These games seamlessly integrate interoperable assets from the Ethereum ecosystem, including Immutable X, a leading scaling network.

Beyond the funding announcement, Illuvium Labs has hinted at a forthcoming token airdrop, igniting excitement within the gaming community. According to the press release, rumors suggest an airdrop worth over $25 million, potentially benefiting the game's loyal fanbase.

The Illuvium ILV token has witnessed a surge in value, reaching a peak of nearly $160 earlier this month, marking its highest price point since 2022. Its current valuation stands at over $150, reflecting the anticipation surrounding the game's launch.

Meanwhile, Nyan Heroes, a Solana-based hero shooter game, has partnered with G2 Esports, a renowned esports organization, to establish a foothold in the competitive gaming landscape. The collaboration aims to engage with fans and promote Nyan Heroes through social media, player streams, and show matches involving renowned esports team organizations.

9 Lives Interactive, the studio developing Nyan Heroes, released a pre-alpha demo on the Epic Games Store, receiving an overwhelming response with over 450,000 prospective players signing up. The demo, featuring cat-inspired characters and captivating gameplay mechanics, ranked among the top 10 requested games on the Epic Games Store wishlist prior to launch.

The pre-alpha test, which runs until April 9, forms part of a play-to-airdrop campaign that will ultimately reward players with the NYAN token on Solana. By participating in gameplay, players contribute to the game's development and earn in-game assets.
