Haliey Welch aka Hawk Tuah Girl Retained a Law Firm Following the $HAWK Memecoin Launch Disaster, With a Class Action Lawsuit Now Filed Against Its Creators

Haliey Welch has retained a law firm following the disaster that came in the wake of her $HAWK memecoin launch, with a class action lawsuit now filed against its creators.

A PR company reached out to us on behalf of Burwick Law this Friday to clarify a number of things pertaining to the case, as Hailey is being accused of running a pump-and-dump scheme that conned her fans and investors out of significant sums.

According to the firm, Haliey did not spearhead or create the project and only received a sponsorship fee for the use of her persona. They add that she was not guaranteed to make any more money off the crypto asset following its launch.

She has since advised anyone affected to contact Burwick Law at https://www.burwick.law/newclient.

“Due to her limited role, Haliey was completely siloed from this project and had zero control over it,” Burwick Law noted. “This was due to receiving incorrect advice from the company responsible for launching the coin, who wanted to take advantage of her viral success.”

Haliey Welch Is Looking To Make Amends

Haliey Welch is said to be working with the law firm to help uncover the truth and resolve the matter while holding those at fault accountable.

Haliey Welch, aka Hawk Tuah Girl, has now been gone for 2 weeks and hasn’t dropped any episodes of her Talk Tuah podcast since “going to sleep” after rug-pulling millions in a memecoin 😭 pic.twitter.com/Ch8aWcr9uu

While the internet sensation has mostly been silent since the launch, she plans to keep up appearances once she clears her name.

According to Burwick, Haliey “plans to keep pushing forward after clearing up the narrative around her involvement in this project.”
