Grayscale has revised its "Assets Under Consideration" list for Q2 2025, featuring 40 altcoins from industries such as smart contract platforms

Grayscale, the renowned digital asset manager, has updated its “Assets Under Consideration” list for the second quarter of 2025. The list, which showcases a diverse range of 40 altcoins across four categories—smart contract platforms, financials, consumer & culture, and utilities & services—has been revised to reflect new trends in the crypto market and potential investment opportunities.
Smart contract platforms featured in the list include Aptos, Arbitrum, Celestia, Hedera Hashgraph, and VeChain, while financial assets include Binance Coin, Ethena, and Ondo Finance. In the consumer & culture category, Immutable and Story are included, and utilities & services have Akash Network, Arweave, and Helium.
The most significant changes to the list are the deletion of Kaspa and the inclusion of Babylon, Berachachain, Monad, Movement, Lombard, Mantra, Eliza, DeepBook, and Walrus. Additionally, Maple Finance has been moved to Financials, and Geodnet falls under Utilities & Services.
This updated list provides insights into Grayscale's interest in decentralized finance (DeFi), real-world assets (RWA), and intellectual property tokenization. However, it's important to note that the list is not fixed and may vary based on prevailing market conditions.
