Grayscale Shares List of New Crypto Assets Under Consideration for Inclusion
Jan 10, 2025 at 10:46 pm
Grayscale pointed out that the list of the crypto assets for likely inclusion comprises emerging and well-known assets.
Crypto asset management platform Grayscale has updated its list of digital assets that could be included in its investment products in the future.
The move is part of Grayscale’s efforts to broaden access to crypto assets and meet the evolving interests of investors, according to a report by the platform.
The list of crypto assets for potential inclusion includes both emerging and established assets. Among them are Kaspa ($KAS) and smart contract projects such as TRON ($TRX), Toncoin ($TON), Starknet ($STRK), Sei ($SEI), Mantle ($MNT), Hedera ($HBAR), Celestia ($TIA), Arbitrum ($ARB), and Aptos ($APT).
Financial projects in the lineup include THORChain ($RUNE), Ondo Finance ($ONDO), Injective Protocol ($INJ), Ethena ($ENA), Binance Coin ($BNB), and Aerodrome ($AERO).
For the consumer and culture sector, the list includes Dogecoin ($DOGE), Virtuals Protocol ($VIRTUAL), and Immutable ($IMX).
In the category of utilities and services, Jito ($JTO), Helium ($HNT), Arweave ($AR), Artificial Superintelligence Alliance ($FET), and Akash Network ($AKT) are among the assets being considered.
The initiative aligns with Grayscale’s focus on providing investors with access to a wide range of digital assets for investment.
Grayscale’s process for selecting crypto assets for inclusion in its products is a multi-faceted and rigorous approach that considers internal controls, regulatory compliance, market demand, and custody arrangements, among other factors. Grayscale updates the list of crypto assets for potential inclusion in its products regularly, typically fifteen days following each quarter.
Grayscale’s current product suite includes single-asset products for Litecoin ($LTC), Ethereum ($ETH), and Bitcoin ($BTC), among others, in addition to multi-asset products. These offerings have set a benchmark for cryptocurrency investment options for both institutional and retail investors.
It is important to note that Grayscale may not ultimately include all the crypto assets on the list in its products. However, the expanded lineup underscores the platform’s proactive approach to identifying promising opportunities within the crypto landscape. As the market continues to evolve, Grayscale maintains its leadership by offering innovative solutions to cater to the diverse requirements of investors.
