Google Removes Live Price Charts for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Other Crypto Coins From Its Search Results

Google has reportedly removed live price charts for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana from its search results.
This feature has been available since 2018, and it remains unclear whether this is a temporary glitch or a permanent decision.
Interestingly, XRP’s price chart seems to have escaped Google’s trims.
Bitcoin market data was first added to Google’s financial section in June 2013, followed by an auto conversion feature for Bitcoin’s price a year later.
Now, the targeted removal of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana appears limited. The searches for $XRP, $DOGE, and $BNB remain unaffected.
Moreover, chart and pricing data for Stellar (XLM) and Tron (TRX) remain on the Google search page. However, the data for meme coin Shiba Inu is notably absent.
There are many theories on why Google has removed the price charts. Some argue that the experiment was carried out before the upcoming US election to censor and manipulate elections.
The Bitcoin Therapist on X says, “Rumors are circulating that Google may be attempting to suppress the Bitcoin bull market by removing the price chart during searches.”
However, the search algorithm behemoth has not yet released an official statement explaining the recent change.
The crypto community argues that suddenly removing some crypto assets is bizarre. While all this is happening, interest in Bitcoin searches on Google has dropped significantly.
Data from Google Trends shows that interest in Bitcoin had reached a low last seen in over a year.
