This model also powers the improvement of Gemini’s “Deep Research” feature, enabling users to generate detailed multi-page reports with sustained focus and provide real-time insights into its reasoning process. Deep Research is now available globally in 45+ languages, accessible for free a few times per month or with expanded access for Gemini Advanced users.

Another major addition is the experimental “Personalization” feature, which integrates Gemini with other Google apps like Search to deliver more relevant and personalized responses. For instance, Gemini can now provide restaurant recommendations or travel advice based on recent searches. Users retain control over their Search history and can disconnect it from Gemini at any time.
