input: Franklin Templeton has launched a mixed Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) in collaboration with Coinbase.
The financial services giant announced on Monday that its new Franklin Crypto Index ETF (EZPZ) will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange Arca on March 13.
Coinbase will provide custody services for the fund, which will be benchmarked against the CF Institutional Digital Asset Index.
The index is currently weighted 86.51% BTC and 13.49% ETH, with plans to add other crypto assets in the future.
The expense ratio for the ETF is 0.45%.
Franklin Templeton also launched single-asset Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs last year.
The firm's entry into the crypto ETF market comes amid increasing competition from other financial institutions.
Earlier this month, Hashdex launched a joint BTC-ETH ETF, while BlackRock also filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch a spot Bitcoin ETF.
