The Middle East World (MEW) is a new cultural initiative that aims to expand the reach of Arabic culture through strategic partnerships with leading names in animation, gaming, and digital media. As part of its efforts, MEW is collaborating with 3D animation studio Locus to produce movie and TV-quality animations for premium platforms.

Locus, a renowned studio known for its work on Korean smash hit Red Shoes and Cells at Work, specializes in distributing content across 128 countries. Their expertise will be invaluable in bringing MEW’s universe to a global audience across diverse entertainment platforms.

Moreover, MEW is partnering with 2D animation team Combo Studio, whose impressive portfolio includes contributions to Netflix’s Agent Elvis, Amazon Prime’s Hazbin Hotel, and Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty. Together, they will create both short-form and long-form animated content that is engaging and entertaining, expanding the audience for MEW’s unique cultural offerings.

Another key aspect of MEW’s strategy is engaging the gaming community. With the goal of reaching over 2 billion gamers worldwide, MEW is leveraging its IP to collaborate on engaging games.

Partnering with Paris-based agency Publicis and an in-house team that unites talent from top gaming studios, such as Ubisoft and EA, Zoom Studios is developing high-fidelity games. These games are designed to appeal to a broad spectrum of players, from casual gamers seeking fun experiences to strategy enthusiasts who prefer in-depth gameplay.
