Ever-Evolving DeFi Sector Has Recently Seen a Notable Advancement in the NFT Space

As per the data from Phoenix Group, the top NFT sales of March include CryptoPunk and Azuki as the key collections.
The crypto sector has seen some interesting activity in recent times, especially with the emergence of new projects and technologies. Among them is DeFi, which has been steadily gaining popularity as a new paradigm for financial services.
Recently, there has been a buzz in the NFT space as well, with some major sales and collections making headlines. To highlight this further, crypto analytics platform Phoenix Group has revealed the list of the most prominent NFT sales of March in a recent social media post.
Among the largest sales of March are:
CryptoPunk #2967 sold for 420 $ETH ($842,640)
The list of March’s top NFT sales positions CryptoPunk #2967 as the leading NFT. The respective NFT was sold for up to 420 $ETH, accounting for a significant $842,640 in terms of value.
The 2nd prominent NFT sale was of CryptoPunk #6634, as the non-fungible token generated nearly 222.5 $ETH. This amount denotes $432,190 in cumulative value. Another NFT that made a massive earning was CryptoPunk #364 as it was traded for nearly 160 $ETH, generating $342,230.
Following that, CryptoPunk W#5218 took the 4th position among the top NFT sales as it made 142.7 $WETH. In this respect, the NFT added $276,030 in revenue.
Additionally, CryptoPunk #6935 was sold for almost 135 $ETH, underscoring $270,240 in cumulative value. Subsequently, CryptoPunk #4220 was the sixth top NFT in terms of sales this month because it was exchanged for 134.7 $ETH, equaling $250,910.
Azuki #621 Bottoms List with Sale Accounting for 110 $WETH
The crypto analytics platform's list of March’s top sales positions CryptoPunk #8968 in the 7th rank as it was sold for up to 128 $ETH, valued at $246,460.
Moreover, CryptoPunk #3007 recorded the 8th top NFT sale, making 120 $ETH, highlighting $239,120 in value.
Furthermore, CryptoPunk #2301’s sale generated $235,050 as it was sold for 115 $ETH coins. Nonetheless, just the last among the top 10 positions of the NFT sales was taken by Azuki #641. The NFT was sold for 110 $ETH, making $213,810 in value.
