Vitalik Buterin Keeps Offloading Meme Coins Received from Developers as Gifts

Vitalik Buterin has been getting significant amounts in terms of meme coins that often came to him as gifts from creators. They were sending these meme tokens to leverage the fame of the Ethereum co-founder to boost the visibility of their tokens. Hence, these token transfers were included in their promotional efforts. Nonetheless, Buterin has been consistently offloading the respective tokens with their rapid conversion into $ETH.

This is not the first instance where Buterin has carried out such sales. Back in 2021, he sold off Shiba Inu ($SHIB) in an enormous amount. The developers had sent these tokens to Buterin as a part of the initial marketing plan. Later on, he donated a section of the respective tokens for charitable causes such as COVID-19 relief projects in India.
