Eric Trump Signals Bullish Stance on Ethereum (ETH) as World Liberty Financial Makes Waves

Eric Trump, an executive VP at the Trump Organization, says "it's a great time to add ETH", signaling a bullish stance on the world's second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.

Eric Trump Signals Bullish Stance on Ethereum (ETH) as World Liberty Financial Makes Waves

Eric Trump, an executive vice president at the Trump Organization, has signaled a bullish stance on Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) with a recent tweet.

"In my opinion, it’s a great time to add $ETH," Trump wrote.

The timing of the tweet is interesting, given that World Liberty Financial (CRYPTO: WLF), a decentralized finance project that has been endorsed by several prominent Trump family members including U.S. President Donald Trump, recently raised eyebrows with a series of large cryptocurrency transactions.

Those transactions, which included moving large quantities of ETH, were flagged by crypto transaction tracking service Walletinsight.

Eric Trump is also closely involved with World Liberty Financial, as he's listed as the project's "Web3 Ambassador" alongside Donald Trump Jr. and Barron Trump.

On Monday, the balance of World Liberty Financial's publicly tagged multisignature wallet decreased from $378 million to just $33 million.

This was a result of multiple large transactions, including a $250 million transfer to crypto prime brokerage Coinbase Prime, which led to speculation that the project was selling off their holdings.

However, World Liberty Financial later clarified that the transactions were not made with the intent to sell the tokens.

"We’re making routine movements of our crypto holdings as part of regular treasury management, and payment of fees and expenses and to address working capital requirements," World Liberty Financial wrote.

"To be clear, we are not selling tokens—we are simply reallocating assets for ordinary business purposes."

In light of the scrutiny received by these transactions, Eric Trump's bullish tweet on ETH could be interpreted as a way to reassure crypto investors that the World Liberty Financial project did not make the transactions with the aim of "dumping" their ETH holdings.

Several popular analysts have suggested that ETH can reach a price of $10,000 in 2025.

Even DeepSeek, an AI chatbot that has quickly grown in popularity as of late, forecasts ETH surpassing $10,000 in 2025 as a "base case."

Meanwhile, the algorithmic ETH price prediction on CoinCodex is not quite as bullish, as it forecasts ETH to top out at a price of around $7,650 in 2025.

Still, this would represent a 174% increase compared to the current ETH price.
