Devcon 7 Bangkok Day 4: Injective Summit, Manta Network Modular Acceleration, and More
Nov 15, 2024 at 11:59 pm
Today is the last day of Devcon 7 and its side events in Bangkok. On the way to the sky train, for the first event of the day. I passed by Vitalik Buterin. So, what could go wrong today?
The final day of Devcon 7 in Bangkok, Thailand, brought forth the Injective Summit and Manta Network Modular Acceleration event, showcasing promising projects within the crypto ecosystem.
Injective Summit Commences with Multi-VM, iAgent, and More
The morning kicked off with the Injective Summit, marking the first-ever live event for the protocol. As Injective continues to integrate RWA (Real World Assets), the event highlighted key developments and upcoming plans.
Eric Chen, CEO and co-founder of Injective, took to the stage to unveil some exciting news. After a year in the making, Injective will introduce Multi-VM, set to launch with a private testnet this year, followed by a public testnet in Q1 2025 and the mainnet in Q1.
Moreover, Injective will launch iAgent, an AI agent creator, empowering users to build their own agents and integrate them into any protocol or application. This opens up vast possibilities for interaction and automation within the crypto space.
The Summit featured several projects built on Injective, showcasing their latest developments and engaging with attendees. Here's a closer look at some of these projects:
The Graph, often dubbed the "Google of blockchains," had some hot news to share. Having already integrated several non-AVM chains, including Solana, Mantra, Injective, and Vara, The Graph now has Sui and Polkadot lined up to join the network.
Additionally, The Graph is set to introduce streaming data capabilities, further enhancing the real-time data accessibility within the crypto ecosystem.
Band, a decentralized data oracle based in Thailand, showcased their upcoming Band V3 upgrade, bringing faster finality, lower gas fees, and a broader data offering.
Paradyze, a brand-new project on Injective, launched its testnet on 11th November. Their goal is to create a unified DeFi hub, with their first product being a prediction market.
They're also developing various modules, including gamified options, a wallet integration in December, and chain abstraction for seamless asset swaps without user intervention.
Hydro, a liquid staking platform, aims to become the DeFi hub on Injective. Currently ranked #1 on the protocol by TVL, Hydro is working on RYA (Real Yield Assets) and LRP (liquid restaking) to enhance the staking experience.
They're also in talks with Agora to integrate their stablecoin and set to launch their landing platform in Q1 or Q2 2025. However, their loop staking (looping) option will go live this Monday, 18th November.
Stork, an oracle for perpetual DEXes, boasts cross-chain compatibility with over 40 chains and 50 protocols. Stork also launched its products on Helix, the leading Injective DEX.
In December, they're set to introduce lending protocols with RWA options. Notably, Stork allows anyone to become a data provider, offering their data or selling it on the platform.
Manta Network Modular Acceleration Highlights Blocksense
Following the Injective Summit, the day continued with the Manta Network Modular Acceleration event. Here, Blocksense caught our attention as a ZK rollup for programmable oracles.
Their platform offers a low-coding solution for creating custom oracles tailored to specific needs, catering to a wider audience and presenting a more accessible entry point into the world of decentralized data.
Blocksense is currently in their testnet phase, with plans to launch their mainnet this year, in December. A token is expected to launch within a year.
