Riding this wave, two Ghibli-themed tokens—Ghiblification (Ghibli) and GhibliCZ (Ghibli)—have also made their debut on Binance Alpha

Celebrities and social media users alike have been using the OpenAI tool to generate images in the renowned animation studio's aesthetic, quickly filling the internet with these creations.

This massive trend has also sparked the rapid development and evaluation of Ghibli-themed tokens, two of which—Ghiblification (Ghibli) and GhibliCZ (Ghibli)—have now made their debut on Binance Alpha.

Announced via Binance's official X account on Thursday, the crypto exchange has included the two meme coins in its pre-listing token pool on Binance Alpha. The initiative, launched by Binance in December, highlights early-stage crypto projects with promising growth potential in the Web3 ecosystem.

These tokens, selected for community interest and keeping in mind the hottest trends in the market, may receive early visibility and attention from the crypto community, potentially leading to greater growth potential compared to regular tokens.

However, it’s important to note that while these tokens are handpicked by Binance, this does not guarantee a listing on Binance Exchange. Nonetheless, such exposure from Binance may attract more investors compared to typical tokens that lack this attention.

As of Thursday morning, GhibliCZ had already reached a $14 million market cap within a few hours of its launch on BNB Chain.

Moreover, Ghiblification, the first meme coin related to this trend, had risen another 30% following its Binance Alpha listing. Data from Dexscreener showed more buy orders than sell orders for the token.
