Cudos Eyes Artificial Superintelligence Alliance Entry
Sep 12, 2024 at 02:13 am
The FET community will vote on the proposal between September 19 and 24, a crucial decision that could expand the ASI Alliance from three to four projects.
ASI Alliance members to vote on adding CUDOS token
The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance, a collaboration between Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol, announced on Wednesday the potential addition of CUDOS, a distributed AI computing platform, to the collective.
This integration aims to enhance scalable computing within the ASI Alliance, boasting a decentralized infrastructure to improve efficiency, reduce constraints, and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
According to the press release, CUDOS plays a significant role in the Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) space, offering powerful, scalable, and cost-efficient computing resources for demanding AI-driven projects.
The ASI Alliance, established to bolster its computing power and reduce reliance on centralized providers like Amazon (AWS), aims to capitalize on CUDOS's strengths in this domain.
“The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance, a collective recently formed by SingularityNET, Fetch.ai, and Ocean Protocol, today announced the inclusion of CUDOS, a distributed AI computing platform, as the newest member of the Alliance, subject to community vote,” the announcement stated.
Highlighting the potential for synergy, Cudos founder Matt Hawkins noted that the integration of its advanced graphic processing units (GPUs) could notably enhance AI processing within the alliance.
“This groundbreaking collaboration merges compute power with AI innovation to accelerate the development of decentralized Artificial General Intelligence (AGI),” Hawkins said.
Earlier in the year, Fetch.ai and Singularity.NET allocated a combined $153 million for GPU hardware, setting the stage for the ASI Alliance's mission to provide the computational power necessary for large-scale AI and machine learning applications.
This move to incorporate Cudos's global distributed computing network would introduce more up-to-date AI GPUs to the mix.
This collaboration aligns with the broader push toward Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and Artificial Superintelligence (ASI), potentially supporting product development for the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance and enhancing the utility of the FET token.
According to BeInCrypto data, the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET) token experienced a rise of nearly 5% following this news. At the time of this writing, it is trading at $1.34.
