3 Cryptos to Buy to Become a Millionaire in the Next Decade
Jun 22, 2024 at 12:41 pm
In general, anyone who views cryptocurrencies as a get-rich-quick way will likely end up disappointed. To approach cryptocurrency investing with confidence
Anyone viewing cryptocurrencies as a way to get rich quickly will likely be disappointed. To approach cryptocurrency investing with confidence, investors must understand the time it takes for the cryptocurrencies one needs to buy to become a millionaire to mature. Additionally, the potential to make $1 million varies from crypto to crypto and also depends on how much money you are willing to risk up front.
Therefore, the three cryptocurrencies discussed in this article have the potential to deliver stunning returns in the coming decade, depending on when you buy them and at what price. We will look at the trading history and growth stages to predict the millionaire potential of these three cryptos, using a standard investment of $10,000 as a starting point. Furthermore, the purpose of this article is purely speculative and these hypothetical investment scenarios should in no way be considered facts.
Polygon Ecosystem Token (POL-USD)

The Polygon ecosystem token (POL-USD) is the new native token intended to replace it Polygon (MATIC USD). If you had purchased the original $10,000 Polygon token when it hit its all-time low in 2019, your investment would now be worth $1.82 million thanks to the 18,329% increase since then. Now to reproduce this with the new ecosystem token POL, which is currently trading 57 cents will be difficult but not impossible.
To turn $10,000 into $1 million, POL would need to reach around $60 per token. However, the reason POL is replacing MATIC is to enable exactly this type of growth in the protocol Value layer. Currently, the Polygon team envisions the POL token as a driver of value creation in the Web3 version of the Internet.
This means that tokens will be derived from the free exchange of information that currently takes place on the Internet by validating the passing of information from one person to the next. It is certainly a high-risk, high-reward ethereal game that requires a deep commitment to the idea of a decentralized internet via Web3 infrastructure to buy cryptos to become a millionaire.
VeChain (VET-USD)

VeChain (VET USD) is designed as an enterprise-class Layer 1 smart contract platform. The cryptocurrency has existed as a private consortium chain since 2015 and became a public blockchain in 2017 with the launch of the ERC-20 token VEN, before launching its own token called VET in 2018.
Today, VeChain’s application focuses on the real-world data management issues that plague global industries such as medicine and energy. To achieve this, developers use a theory called “distributed governance” that is integrated into Internet of Things (IoT) networks to streamline data processing for the aforementioned industries. Additionally, VeChain uses what it calls “Trustless dataIt is a network that runs in parallel with your Internet network to improve the security of its interaction without the need for central verification.
The current VET token is trading at 2.5 cents and could turn $10,000 into $1 million by just reaching $2.50, which is entirely feasible if the targeted adoption is achieved.
Bitcoin (BTC USD)

I would like to introduce this Bitcoin (BTC USD) section with the fact that now may not be the best time to invest money in BTC as it is trading near its all-time high. However, if Bitcoin falls below $50,000 again, it will likely be a strong contender among cryptos to buy to become a millionaire.
The reason I say this is to speculate about what Bitcoin’s true future value might be. Some analysts speculate $100,000 is possible this year, with questions about whether the coin will ever reach $1 million. Considering that the current market cap is nearly $1.3 trillion, the coin would have to dwarf the market cap of the US economy to reach this valuation.
There is a possibility that this could happen in the next 20 years if the BTC mining industry remains dynamic and Bitcoin becomes a global means of payment. Although impossible to predict, it is entirely feasible should inflation wipe out fiat currencies.
On small capitalization and low volume cryptocurrencies: InvestorPlace does not regularly publish commentary on cryptocurrencies whose market capitalization is less than $100 million or whose trading volume is less than $100,000. Because these “penny cryptos” are often a playground for fraudsters and market manipulators. If we publish a comment on a low-volume crypto that may be affected by our comment, we ask InvestorPlace.com writers to disclose this fact and warn readers of the risks.
