Ki Young Ju, CEO of blockchain analytics firm Cryptoquant shared his prediction of the crypto market in a post on social media platform X on Friday.

Cryptoquant founder Ki Young Ju expressed optimism about the return of former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ), speculating that it could lead to major market movements.
“Bullish vibes everywhere,” Ju wrote in a post on social media platform X on Friday. He added that CZ “just needs to post ‘I’m back’ and the market will skyrocket.”
CZ was released from U.S. custody on Friday after serving a four-month sentence. He had been arrested in March for allegedly violating campaign finance laws by donating to candidates running for federal office.
While Ju’s comments were largely lighthearted, they do highlight the outsized influence that CZ has within the cryptocurrency sector. As the founder and former CEO of the world’s largest crypto exchange, CZ’s actions and statements can have a significant impact on the market.
This influence is something that has been noted by others in the crypto community. For example, earlier this year, Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz said that CZ is “the most powerful person in crypto.”
However, it is important to note that CZ is not the only factor that drives the crypto market. As Ju himself noted in his post, there are multiple forces at play, including crime, immaturity and a lack of value creation despite the vast capital that has entered the crypto market.
Ultimately, the direction of the crypto market will be determined by a complex interplay of macroeconomic, regulatory and technological developments. While CZ’s return may provide a short-term boost to the market, it is unlikely to be the sole driver of sustained price movements.
