Creta World: The Ultimate Gaming Platform Combining Metaverse, Social Media, Marketplace, and Game Creation
Aug 01, 2024 at 09:55 pm
Ray Nakazato is the co-founder and chief creative officer of Creta World. Nakazato has been building games for over 40 years.
Creta World is a metaverse gaming platform that combines a metaverse, social media, marketplace, and game creation tool. It aims to provide a secure and engaging gaming experience for users.
Creta World has four main pillars:
1) Metaverse: Creta's metaverse encompasses diverse and immersive worlds, starting with a Sci-Fi metaverse. They also plan to launch an anime and fantasy-themed metaverse.
2) Marketplace: Users can download games and trade assets in Creta's marketplace.
3) Social Media Platform: Creta is integrating its social media platform within the Creta ecosystem. Developers can use the Creta social media API to add chatting and NFT trading features to their games.
4) Creta Studio: This user-friendly game-creation tool is designed to empower aspiring game developers.
Creta World aims to stand out by bringing blockchain capabilities to regular gaming platforms. They are still building and working on bringing these ideas to life.
Creta encourages third-party studios and developers to contribute their games to the Creta platform. To facilitate this, they launched a fundraising program called Creta Nexus. Developers can present their ideas to the Creta community and potentially receive funding to build their games.
Creta backers can also purchase specific NFTs, and once the games are released, they can earn rewards based on the game's performance. For instance, the first project was proposed by Yoshiki Okamoto, the creator of Street Fighter 2, Resident Evil, and other Capcom games. It is also Creta's first gaming launch project. Creta has already raised $4 million for Yoshiki's project, which is currently underway.
Creta is planning to bring on two more projects this year and open up to developers so they can join and gain access to a large user base and cutting-edge tools like Creta Studio.
Regarding their social media platform, it's called Superclub, and they will start beta testing soon. It is a social media platform that fully utilizes NFTs and blockchain technology. While chatting with friends, you can share your NFTs with them.
Moreover, Superclub will have an API that game developers can use to integrate Superclub features into their games. One interesting aspect of Super Club is that community creation turns it into an NFT. You can build up your community and sell it, or you can join forces with like-minded individuals. This feature will greatly benefit early users.
Creta has also partnered with Locus Chain, an L1 public blockchain company. Their platform utilizes Locus Chain as its fundamental blockchain ecosystem. As Locus Chain is a serverless blockchain, Creta is trying to make online games serverless as well. They plan to create a virtual distributed server using Creta's blockchain to reduce server costs.
Creta will begin close Beta testing this year from Southeast Asia, starting with Super Club and a game called Fortress. Then, the marketplace gaming platform will be in. Afterward, Creta will release the Metaverse beta and other game beta tests.
Next year, they will begin commercial services and add MMORPGs beta testing. Then, later next year, they will have the first game. After that, Scifi Metaverse, Anime Metaverse, Fantasy Metaverse, and Beta Creta Studio for game creation. That’s Creta’s three-year plan.
In five years, there will be more than a million users of commercial services worldwide. As a free-to-play service, Creta can achieve that and build a large community.
The primary token for Creta World is $CRETA. You can use Creta tokens to buy in-game assets and trade NFTs on the Creta platform. In the future, they might introduce a game point system where you can swap tokens for Creta points to use in games.
Creta is creating MMORPGs, then a casual online e-sports game, an anime adventure game, and Yoshiki's project. They are also in talks with several studios and developers to have them contribute their games to Creta. These are creative partnerships, and they have yet to disclose any information.
Regarding business partnerships, Creta is working with Republic, Altcoin Buzz, etc.
Creta is a long-term project that aims to bring regular gamers into their platform. They focus on creating an enjoyable gaming experience and don't pay much attention to the crypto market trends. When users decide to sell their gaming assets, they will discover the benefits of blockchain technology.
Creta's goal is to change the whole idea of gaming by adding features that benefit users. They will continue pushing boundaries and keeping everyone updated.
