Recently, Interchain Labs announced the integration of Neutron with the Cosmos ecosystem. Neutron is a PoW chain designed to serve as a layer-1 for Web3 applications.
The goal is to create an ecosystem where PoW chains can communicate seamlessly with PoS chains in the Cosmos ecosystem.
Earlier this year, Cosmos announced plans to expand its ecosystem with new "Zones." These Zones will be specialized blockchains built by developers using the Cosmos SDK.
The Cosmos ecosystem is powered by ATOM, the native token used for staking, transaction fees, and governance. Cosmos Hub validators are selected from the top ATOM stakers.
