extends Crypto.com’s existing Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license, allowing it to offer derivatives in the UAE.
Crypto.com has announced that it has been granted a limited license by Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) to offer derivatives.
This follows the company’s existing Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license in the UAE.
Crypto.com’s regional entity will begin rolling out a range of derivative products, including futures, perpetual swaps, and contracts for difference (CFDs).
Initially, these services will be available to eligible institutions worldwide, with direct access to derivatives products also set to be granted to qualified investors later.
This new license also marks a milestone for retail customers. Thanks to this limited license, all Crypto.com customers can now deposit and withdraw USD via Standard Chartered, providing a smoother experience for managing funds.

“This approval from VARA for a limited license is a significant and exciting step forward in our pursuit.”
Earlier this week, Crypto.com announced that users can now deposit and withdraw $LION via Arbitrum on the Crypto.com App.
Deposits and withdrawals of $LION via Arbitrum have just been enabled on the https://t.co/vCNztATkNg App.
