A closer look at its technical analysis shows that the Shiba Inu coin price is set to dip ever so slightly before finding support at its lower Bollinger band of $0.00002438. The analyst, who is known to his followers as Alan Santana, observed that SHIB has been trading in an ovular trend, setting higher highs with each rise, and after consolidating, rising again.

Meanwhile, Solana has lost the spotlight after being overtaken by XRP, which now has a $45 billion lead in market capitalization after a historic rally in late November and early December.

However, Solana remains a standout investment for many analysts. As one observes, the token has been trading on a descending wedge pattern since surging in mid-November. It recently breached the upper trendline of this pattern, which always indicates that a price rise is on the way. Solana price is targeting $300 in the short term, although some, like renowned Dutch trader and analyst Michaël van de Poppe, have a much more ambitious target of $1,500 to $2500.

This growth is being fueled by Solana’s thriving ecosystem, which has maintained its reign at the top. Just this week, a new report from Electric Capital revealed that for the first time in eight years, Solana had replaced Ethereum as the top ecosystem for new developers.
