Coincall Debuts On Top 5 Crypto Options Exchanges by Volume, Announces ‘Earn While You Trade' Feature

Crypto exchange Coincall has officially entered the Top 5 global crypto options exchanges by trading volume, marking a major milestone just 18 months after its founding. The exchange's performance surge, linked to a successful Q1 strategy that included high-impact marketing campaigns and new product rollouts in collaboration with crypto partners SignalPlus, DWF and Big Candle Capital, was highlighted by internal data and third-party analytics.

The Top 5 ranking positions Coincall among the leading crypto options platforms in the world, highlighting the exchange's rapid growth in a sector that's increasingly drawing both institutional and retail interest.

While names like Deribit and BitOpps are typically mentioned in the Top 5, Coincall's entry is linked to a swift rise in recent months, placing it among the top exchanges in terms of volume and liquidity. According to Laevitas data, Coincall captured an average market share of 5.43% between March 8 and 17, 2025, with a notable peak at 10.15% on March 15. The exchange also saw strong volume days with 9.78% share on March 8 and 6.64% on March 16, signaling rising momentum and growing competitiveness in the global crypto options landscape.

Coincall's comparative market share and growth trajectory make it the youngest exchange ever to break into the Top 5, and potentially one of the most viable candidates for acquisition or institutional partnership among rising players. As attention shifts from mature giants to agile challengers, Coincall has positioned itself at the center of that conversation, growing into almost the same market share as ByBit.

Coincall's breakout is linked to its focus on user experience, capital efficiency and offering a diverse range of instruments to suit the evolving needs of crypto traders. The exchange recently launched Earn While You Trade (EWYT), a feature that eliminates the traditional tradeoff between yield farming and active trading.

With EWYT, users can:

The feature enables users to earn yield on idle capital without forgoing trading activity, offering an alternative approach to capital utilization.

Coincall's latest innovation, Earn While You Trade (EWYT), is designed to eliminate the traditional tradeoff between yield farming and active trading. "We're witnessing crypto achieve consensus-level legitimacy as a store of value," said Daryl Teo, Chief Operating Officer at Coincall.

"Options are the next wave — they provide leverage, flexibility, and strategy. Our mission at Coincall is simple: make investing quick, intuitive, and safe — for everyone."

Having joined Coincall in January as minority shareholder and COO, Daryl brings experience from both the traditional finance realm — with previous roles at Alibaba Group (NASDAQ:BABA) — and deep involvement in the crypto space since 2017. He is a recognized investor in Web3 startups and mentee of renowned venture capitalist Ben Horowitz (co-founder of venture capital firm venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz).

At Coincall, Daryl reports directly to CEO Jimmy, who assembles a leadership team with executives previously from OKX, Paradigm and Bytedance.

"The next phase of crypto will be defined by real infrastructure," said Teo, highlighting the broader narrative of institutions flowing into the digital asset class. According to PitchBook, $11.5 billion in venture capital was invested into crypto and blockchain startups in 2024 across 2,153 deals — a strong rebound after the prior bear cycle.

"The platforms building with intention, with capital efficiency and user accessibility in mind, will shape the decade ahead."
