This coin was issued by Finland, a country that, although it only put the euro into circulation in 2002, began minting coins before that date

A limited-edition coin that was issued in 2000 by Finland to mark 80 years of independence could be worth a small fortune today, according to a report by Postal.
The coin, which is still in use in Europe today, features two swans in flight on one side and the year of issue on the other. It was designed by sculptor Pertti Mäkinen and is a popular collectible among numismatists.
The coin was issued to mark 80 years since Finnish independence was proclaimed in 1917, with the aim of preparing for the introduction of the single European currency.
More than 36 million copies of the coin were produced, but some of these coins have sold for astronomical sums in recent years.
Coins that have remained out of circulation or been preserved in excellent condition can command particularly high prices.
Indeed, some listings on eBay and specialist numismatics websites show the coin being sold for values exceeding 1,000 euros, especially when it comes to coins in “Mint” condition.
This coin is easily identifiable by the year of issue (2000) and the reverse with swans in flight.
