The crypto industry has continually supported the incoming Trump administration, which has made several promises to make the US a leading market for crypto innovation.

Circle Contributes $1 Million USDC to Trump’s Presidential Inaugural Committee

Stablecoin issuer Circle has donated $1 million USDC to former President Donald Trump’s presidential inaugural committee.

The donation will go towards covering the costs of a three-day celebration following Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20.

The event will include galas, parades and dinners to mark the former president’s return to the White House.

Other crypto companies that have donated to the inaugural fund include Coinbase, Kraken, Ripple and Ondo Finance.

In total, tech executives and major donors have contributed over $170 million to the fund.

Donors contributing $1 million or raising $2 million for the inauguration will receive exclusive access to a series of private events.

These include dinners with Trump and Vice President-elect J.D. Vance and receptions with other members of the incoming cabinet.

The three-day celebration will take place around the January 20 swearing-in ceremony.

On December 21, Ripple pledged $5 million worth of XRP to support the inauguration celebrations.

According to Fox Business reports, Coinbase and Kraken each contributed $1 million to the Trump-Vance Inaugural Committee.

Meanwhile, Ondo Finance reportedly donated $1 million to the inaugural fund.

The company previously received a $250,000 investment from the Trump-backed crypto project World Liberty Financial in mid-December.

Robinhood has also reportedly donated $2 million.

Donors will receive several lucrative perks during Trump’s inauguration. In return for their donations, crypto leaders are likely to receive several perks. Donors contributing $1 million or raising $2 million for the inauguration will receive exclusive access to a series of private events.

These include dinners with Trump and Vice President-elect J.D. Vance and receptions with other members of the incoming cabinet. These exclusive benefits offer donors, such as crypto companies, opportunities to cultivate relationships with the new administration.

Cryptocurrencies significantly influenced the recent election cycle, with crypto-affiliated super PACs contributing over $133 million to various campaigns.

Notable contributors included prominent cryptocurrency companies such as Ripple, Coinbase, and Jump Crypto. Following the election, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse further demonstrated his support for pro-crypto initiatives by donating $25 million to Fairshake, a pro-crypto super PAC, which has since raised over $103 million for the upcoming 2026 midterm elections.
