Chess Universe, a free-to-play (F2P) casual chess mobile non-fungible token (NFT)-based game, is launching on Immutable zkEVM, a gaming chain built on the Ethereum blockchain ecosystem. The integration will allow game developers to introduce customized digital ownership and Web3 mechanics in their games. Chess Universe is available now in leading gaming market stores, Apple Store, and Google Play.

In a November 20 blog post, Immutable announced the launch of Chess Universe on its Immutable zkEVM blockchain network. While commenting about the new integration, Dusko Pavasovic, the Chief Executive Officer of Chess Universe, noted that “the collaboration marks a major milestone in our journey to redefine how chess is played, enjoyed, and experienced.” The Chess Universe is rated as Apple Arcade’s best board game.

Developed by Kings Of Games, a team of chess grandmasters and gaming experts, Chess Universe is a casual chess mobile game with play-to-earn (P2E) mechanics, writing a new chapter in Chess history. Chess Universe allows players to learn how to play chess, play with friends, with a computer, or enter other competitions. Chess Universe is integrated with non-fungible token technology to provide digital ownership in its gaming ecosystem.
