Charles Hoskinson, the co-founder of Cardano, has not been invited to attend the upcoming White House Crypto Summit, scheduled for this Friday

Charles Hoskinson, a prominent figure in the cryptocurrency sphere, will not be attending the upcoming White House Crypto Summit, according to a source familiar with the guest list.
The source, who requested anonymity due to the sensitivity of the matter, confirmed that executives from Cardano, the blockchain platform co-founded by Hoskinson, will not be involved in shaping crypto policy at the summit.
This development is surprising, especially since Hoskinson was previously expected to attend, particularly after former President Donald Trump mentioned on Truth Social that cryptocurrencies such as Cardano (ADA), Ripple (XRP), Solana (SOL), Ether (ETH), and Bitcoin (BTC) would be included in a new crypto reserve. Trump’s announcement even led to a brief surge in the crypto market.
The crypto summit is set to feature top figures in the cryptocurrency world, including Michael Saylor, Sergey Nazarov (co-founder of Chainlink), Brian Armstrong (CEO of Coinbase), Vlad Tenev (CEO of Robinhood), J.P. Richardson (CEO of Exodus), Kyle Samani (co-founder of Multicoin Capital), Zach Witkoff (co-founder of World Liberty Financial), and many others. Fox journalist Eleanor Terrett revealed that ten prominent figures have confirmed their attendance, though Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse is notably absent from the list.
In February, Hoskinson mentioned a “VIP dinner” scheduled for early March, initially set for February 22nd but later moved to the 1st, coinciding with the dates of a MAGA Inc. dinner.
