Charles Hoskinson Bets on Cardano (ADA), XRP & Bitcoin (BTC) Having a Bright Future

Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, recently shared his thoughts on the future prospects of XRP, Cardano, and Bitcoin. According to Hoskinson, all three blockchains have a promising future in the digital landscape. He highlighted the resilience of these blockchain ecosystems, having overcome various challenges.

Pointing to Cardano’s latest partnership with BitcoinOS, a provider of interoperability solutions and Bitcoin smart contracts, Hoskinson mentioned that Cardano has more partnership opportunities than ever before, enabling Bitcoin liquidity on the Cardano network.

Hoskinson also addressed the recent conflict within the Cardano community as the network navigates community governance between the Cardano Foundation, a Swiss-based non-profit organization tasked with promoting the blockchain’s widespread use, and Input Output Hong Kong, the primary development company behind the network.

Emphasizing that Cardano’s strength lies in its ability to overcome such challenges, Hoskinson refuted claims that the recent conflicts could impact Cardano’s ability to forge and maintain external partnerships, echoing the sentiments expressed by prominent community member Rick McCracken.

Cardano Plomin Hard Fork Update

Cardano Mainnet hard fork has been proposed on-chain for ICC and SPO ratification, Intersect, a membership-based organization for the Cardano ecosystem, recently shared an update on the latest Cardano Mainnet hard fork, which is now up for ratification by Input Controllers (ICCs) and Stake Pool Operators (SPOs).

The Plomin upgrade will introduce the final on-chain governance features for Cardano. This will enable full governance for the Mainnet as outlined in CIP-1694. Following the upgrade, the delegate-approved Constitution will be up for community review on-chain.

This upgrade is set to enable a more decentralized decision-making process. The Voltaire Era aims to create a self-sustainable blockchain with robust governance features. Decentralized processes and increased community trust, enabled by these features, contribute to a healthy ecosystem.
