Bybit, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange, has unveiled its integration with Tonstakers, a leading liquid staking protocol on the TON blockchain.
Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has integrated with Tonstakers, a liquid staking protocol on the TON blockchain, to enable Toncoin (TON) staking via its Web3 Wallet.
The integration adds TON staking to the decentralized finance (DeFi) options available within Bybit. It also provides new staking options for Bybit users to diversify their investment strategies.
The integration allows the approximately 130 million TON blockchain users to stake via Bybit using their Web3 Wallets to stake TON and receive Tonstakers’ liquid staking token, tsTON, in return. This enables them to earn rewards while contributing to the growth and security of the TON ecosystem, with potential annual returns ranging from 3% to 5%, and the added benefit of compounding support.
“At Bybit, we are committed to driving DeFi adoption by bridging traditional Web2 platforms with the innovative solutions of Web3, presenting accessible financial alternatives to a broader audience,” said Emily Bao, head of Bybit Web3. “This partnership plays a pivotal role in expanding the TON ecosystem and bolstering its growth.”
Tonstakers currently has a total value locked (TVL) of over $260 million, making it a major player in the liquid staking market for TON.
Besides Toncoin, Bybit’s Web3 Wallet offers users various staking options, including Ethereum, Sui and stablecoins such as USDT and USDC. The wallet also features bbSOL, a Bybit liquid staking token available on the Solana network.
