A Nigerian man has expressed his opinion on the viral Tapswap Telegram app, and his words may not sit well with many people.
The man identified as Ayegba Moses on Facebook made a post on the platform, stating his reasons why nothing good will come out of Tapswap.
According to him, Nigerians are just wasting time that would have been put to other productive use.
He went on to note that the fact that people all know about Tapswap and are doing it at the same time means it will not work.
Ayegba also added that there will be no second Notcoin and that Tapswap may be different. According to him, many people cannot just get rich at the same time and leave the trenches through Tapswap.
His words:
"The fact that everyone is aware of Tapswap and doing it at the same renders it ineffective. Moreover, there won't be a second 'Notcoin', and Tapswap might be different. It's not possible for everyone to get rich simultaneously and leave the trenches via Tapswap."
However, Legit.ng spoke to Fidelis Ozuwala, a knowledgeable cryptocurrency expert at Waptutors, and he strongly disagreed with Ayegba.
According to Ozuwala, Tapswap might just work for people, adding that the fact that everyone is doing it does not mean it will not work.
His words:
"It might just work for people o. The fact that everyone is doing it doesn't mean it won't work. Remember when Notcoin came out last year, almost everyone that participated got paid."

Is Tapswap coming mining real?
Meanwhile, a Nigerian lady said she decided to start coin mining on Tapswap so that she will benefit if it pays participants.
Ose Sweet said when Notcoin started, people rushed to mine coins on the app, but she refused to participate.
According to her, Notcoin later paid some people she knew, noting that someone made N368,000 from it.
