The broader virtual currency market has experienced a major resurgence and embraced a substantial trend toward institutionalizing crypto, as evidenced by BTC and Ether ETFs.
The market has continued to provide unique opportunities for investors looking to take advantage of the industry’s potential growth. However, many investors are still struggling to find potential assets for financial growth.
Today, data reported by crypto analyst Phoenix Group highlighted the top 15 cryptocurrencies that performed well in the first quarter of 2025.
Best performing projects in Q1 2024
Four (FORM) emerged as the best-performer in the crypto market during Q1 of 2025 (January to March 2025). The altcoin recorded a 460.7% growth during the period, scooping the first place in growth rates among all crypto assets.
The cryptocurrency is also known as BinaryX (BNX). Since the transition, the asset has continued to maintain its impressive price momentum, suggesting increased market demand and user confidence.
The second spot on this list belongs to VON, which generated a price surge of 414.8% in Q1 2025. With robust support from its community, Von continues to sustain a positive trend and provide unique opportunities to investors.
Onyxcoin (XCN) took the third position with a price growth of 349.6% during the quarter. With a rise of 260.4% over the past year, XCN outperformed prominent altcoins like Ethereum, Solana, XRP, BNB, DOGE, and many others. Its price growth is backed by robust use cases and heightened user interest.
SQD secured the fourth place with a price growth of 203.9% in the first quarter of the year. With its innovative technology and unparalleled offerings, SQD has wider market capability and substantial room for growth. Its uniqueness and appeal attract the interest of specific users, pushing its price up.
Following closely is XPR Network with a price surge of 142.9% in Q1 2025. This momentum showcases that more users are displaying interest and confidence in the asset. XPR’s market performance has been strong over the year, as it registered an annual price increase of 64.1%, displaying signs of substantial price action.
Other cryptocurrencies that performed excellently in the first quarter of the year include VENOM, TOSHI, STIK, OM, OHM, DEXE, GT, FUN, EUL, and FTN.
Venom (VENOM) took the sixth position with a price growth of 111.5% in Q1 2025. It was followed by Toshi (TOSHI), which saw a 107.3% price rise in the first quarter.
Staika (STIK) settled on eighth place with a 76.8% price jump in Q1 2025. Next is MANTRA (OM), which recorded a 70.2% price rise in the first quarter of the year. Olympus (OHM) took the tenth place with a 47.0% price surge.
Other assets that Phoenix Group’s data highlighted in this its list include DeXe (DEXE), GateToken (GT), FUNToken (FUN), Euler (EUL), and Fasttoken (FTN).
