South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb has listed Ancient8 (A8) and Drift (DRIFT) tokens on its platform. The exchange announced the news on January 14, stating that the tokens have been added to the KRW pairs.

Following the announcement, the A8 token price surged by 30%, while DRIFT gained 7% on the exchange. Both tokens are now available for deposits, withdrawals, and trading on Bithumb.

Ancient8 (A8) Token Surges 30% on Bithumb Listing

The A8 token, used to power the Ancient8 Web3 gaming ecosystem, debuted on Bithumb at a base price of 429 won. The token is supported on the Ethereum network and requires 33 deposit confirmations.

The Ancient8 platform aims to connect gamers, game guilds, and Web3 projects, offering a decentralized gaming experience. Its native token, A8, serves as the primary currency within the ecosystem.

Drift (DRIFT) Token Sees 7% Gain on Exchange Debut

DRIFT tokens, designed for the decentralized trading solution Drift, entered Bithumb at a base price of 1,605 won. The Solana network supports the tokens, and 20 deposit confirmations are needed.

The Drift protocol enables users to trade cryptocurrencies efficiently with low latency and minimal price impact. Its native token, DRIFT, is used for governance, staking, and paying for trading activities on the platform.

The listing of A8 and DRIFT tokens on Bithumb showcases the growing demand for Web3 gaming and decentralized trading solutions among global investors.
