Bitget and Jambo Announce Partnership to Launch Satellite Initiative Aimed at Expanding the Reach of Decentralized Services Globally
Jan 20, 2025 at 08:03 pm
This partnership focuses on increasing people's access to blockchain technology by providing an unlimited internet connection, especially in areas that are difficult to reach traditional networks.
Crypto companies are increasingly forging alliances with other industries to boost the adoption of decentralized technology at a broader scale. Such collaborations not only pave the way for new innovations but also bridge the gap in accessibility to technology in different parts of the world.
In this latest development, crypto exchange Bitget has announced a strategic partnership with Jambo, a blockchain-powered mobile network, to launch a satellite initiative aimed at expanding the reach of decentralized services globally.
The partnership will focus on boosting people's access to blockchain technology by providing an uninterrupted internet connection, particularly in regions that traditional networks struggle to reach.
Jambo's flagship crypto smartphone, the JamboPhone, priced at US$99 (around Rp1,600,000), serves as a key component in the company's vision. Having sold over 700,000 units by 2024, the JamboPhone functions not just as a telecommunication device but also as a gateway to decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, games, and other Web3 services.

Jambo's satellite program is designed to provide seamless data connectivity for JamboPhone users, even in remote areas that lack conventional internet infrastructure.
According to Jambo CEO James Zhang, this initiative will not only enhance JamboPhone's competitive edge in the market but also open up new avenues for the development of blockchain-based mobile applications.
To power this ambitious project, Jambo is joining forces with Bitget's Launchpad platform, LaunchX. This platform offers users early access to invest in tokens with high growth potential.
Emphasizing Jambo's goal, which aligns with Bitget's mission to support innovative projects that contribute long-term value to the crypto ecosystem, Bitget CEO Gracy Chen expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration.
The Jambo satellite project ultimately aspires to establish an independent digital ecosystem. Through this initiative, Jambo endeavors to accelerate the adoption of blockchain technology among the broader community at large.
